Transylvania Public Health shared a memo with their Board of Health following their 2018 Reaccreditation. The memo summarized the results from the site visit, acknowledged the contributions of agency staff and the board of health and summarized plans for moving forward. In addition, they provided a chart of the current site visit results and the two previous site visit cycles showing the number of unmet activities by standard in each cycle and the QAQI recommended activities per cycle. According to Health Director Elaine Russell, “My goal is to build a culture of accreditation, this memo helped to lay the foundation for a new cycle.” Read the memo.
