NEW RELEASES
Welcome Back Deanna
We are excited to welcome Deanna Hedgepeth back to the NCLHD Accreditation Program. 
Many of you may remember Deanna from her previous work with this program. She is back as the Program Assistant and will be managing program logistics. Welcome back Deanna!
Annual Workshop –Save the Date for August 8-9, 2019
The NCLHD Accreditation Program’s Annual Skills-Building Workshop will be held August 8-9, 2019 at the Friday Center in Chapel Hill. The workshop will focus on the new online Dashboard for evidence submission and strategies for on-boarding other staff. Registration will open in May and extend through July with an expected registration fee of $165. The workshop is for AACs, Backup AACs and co-AACs. Attendance will be limited to 120 participants.
Annual Update Webinar Posted
The Annual NCLHDA Update Webinar was held on January 22. If anyone missed the webinar, or is interested in listening again, the recording and slides are now posted.
ACCREDITATION IN ACTION
Microsoft Teams
The NCLHD Accreditation program is now using Microsoft Teams for AACs to communicate and share resources. The AAC listserv is no longer available. If anyone needs to be added to Teams, please email us at NCLHDaccreditation@unc.edu.
Annual Survey
Each year, the NCLHD Accreditation program administers a survey to get your feedback into the program. The survey identifies areas of quality improvement in the NCLHD Accreditation Program. We would like to hear from AACs, health directors and other Accreditation team members from every health department in the state. The survey will be administered between April 3- May 3, 2019. All ACCs and health directors will be emailed the survey link and can share it within their health departments. We look forward to receiving your feedback.

Accreditation 101: New Agency Accreditation Training: April 25, 2019 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., Lida Blalock Hall, 1801 Glendale Ave, Wilson, N.C. Registration will open February 20, 2019.
NCLHD Accreditation Board Meeting: May 10, 2019, 10 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. Durham County Human Services Complex, conference room A, 414 E. Main St., Durham, NC.
NCLHD Accreditation Annual Skills-Building Workshop: August 8-9, 2019, Friday Center, Chapel Hill. Registration will open in May 2019.
