Cabarrus Health Alliance received funding through NACCHO’s Statewide Training/Technical Assistance Support Request in 2021 to provide resources and technical assistance to their Regional Workgroup in the areas of Data, Quality Improvement, Performance Management, and Strategic Planning. Betty Foh, who led the project, facilitated four sessions where accreditation staff from Iredell, Rowan, Hoke, Gaston, Mecklenburg, and Cleveland participated in peer sharing and learning related to the topic areas. The resources provided help support an overall culture of performance management and quality improvement while also directly connecting to Accreditation requirements – specifically Benchmark 2 (Reporting and Collecting Data), Benchmark 9 (Provision of Community Data and Information), Activity 15.1 (Agency Strategic Plan), Benchmark 27 (Quality Improvement Process), Activity 31.5 (Performance Appraisal System).

The NACCHO funding opportunity is currently open for the 2021-2022 cycle, and NACCHO is willing to consider regional partnership requests. We encourage regional workgroups to explore this opportunity and connect with the Accreditation Program if they are interested in submitting an application.
