Annual Report: Back in Action!
Grab your popcorn and enjoy a fun three-minute cartoon capturing all of the work done in the North Carolina accreditation community in 2022-2023! Every fall, we release an annual report capturing accreditation activities from the previous year. We are proud of the work we accomplished, and we could not do it without support across the state. Thank you for each of your contributions, whether through completing our annual survey, participating in a site visit, providing feedback during public comment, attending training and workshops, or participating in a workgroup.
Office Hours NEXT Week
We hope to see you next week on the second Wednesday of November for office hours – November 8 from 9:00-9:45 AM. This is a great chance to ask any questions you have directly with our program staff. We love this chance to connect with you all!
Accreditation in Action
Adjudication Meeting on November 17
We are nearly two weeks away from our November Board Adjudication Meeting, where the Board will hear from the nine site visits that took place this fall and determine their reaccreditation status. Are you curious to learn more about what takes place during these meetings? Appendix 5 of the NCLHD Accreditation Process Operational Guidelines outlines what to expect from the site visit team report and health director response. We look forward to celebrating the accomplishments identified during our fall site visits together! Find details about the board meeting on our calendar, which will be updated with more information as the date approaches. Remember, these are open meetings – you are free to join!

PHIT Call for Abstracts
NNPHI has announced that the 2024 Public Health Improvement Training (PHIT) will take place virtually on June 3-5, 2024. PHIT is a fabulous environment to connect with public health performance management, accreditation, and quality improvement professionals from across the country. In recent years, North Carolina has had great representation – including some fabulous presenters!
Interested in presenting yourself? The call for workshops is open, with abstracts due November 15.
