North Carolina Institute for Public Health
The NCLHD Accreditation Program is administered by the North Carolina Institute for Public Health (NCIPH), part of the Gillings School of Global Public Health at The University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill.
Questions about the NCLHD Accreditation Program can be directed to NCLHDaccreditation@unc.edu and our staff will respond accordingly.
Please note that program staff cannot answer individual health department questions regarding the appropriateness of specific pieces of evidence or whether something will “meet” an Activity requirement. Please check with other area health departments or regional groups for assistance with these issues.

Margaret is the Interim NCLHD Accreditation Administrator and Strategic Approaches Coordinator at NCIPH. In her interim role, she provides overall coordination and administration of the program to ensure consistency across site visits. She also leads the Accreditation Program’s data and strategic projects.
Faith Van Buskirk Feldt, MA, Operations Specialist

Faith is the Operations Specialist at NCIPH, where she serves as the primary Accreditation Coordinator. She coordinates the many logistics behind site visits and the VMSG dashboard.

Lori is the NCLHD Accreditation Senior Training Associate. Lori assists with planning and coordinating the accreditation trainings along with other special initiatives to support the Accreditation Program.
